What do you dislike most about this product?

For larger data sets, exporting to Excel with Dundas BI is a bit slow. The technical support might be improved.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The check-in or check-out feature could be improved because it frequently causes a page refresh, making the experience slow and clunky. Dundas BI has slow performance when dealing with large amounts of data, and the metric set fails during migration if a single field is removed.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

In my experience and with the projects that I have worked on, Dundas BI fits perfectly. Connecting to Oracle and SQL Server databases and analyzing data with dashboards, scorecards, reports, and many more are quick and easy. Even if the data being analyzed is quite large, you can benefit from the cache feature that it provides.

There are so many things that I like but the ability to share metric sets across dashboards is my favorite feature of Dundas. Because we're only changing it once, this makes our team more efficient. We also like the user-type flexibility of being able to have a concurrent license allowing us to give more people access who may only need access once or twice a month.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Managing data warehouse jobs can be a challenge. The administration page can be implemented and improved innovatively by the company. Another aspect that could be improved is the templates they are very beautiful, but I believe they are too generic, making it difficult to adapt them to more original works.

One advantage I appreciate is the amount of customization you can add to the tool and use across departments and reports. In addition, sharing objects and resources across projects will save you a lot of time, the advantages are limitless! Dundas BI is the clean and most user-friendly tool to use.
