A simple tool that simply works
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates ThreatDown EDR from other similar products?
We can track the progress of client products such as smartphones and virtually deploy most patches thanks to unified management via the web-based dashboard. Because it is internet-based, it is ideal for working remotely.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I did not previously want any antivirus program for our Mac computers. Windows customers were using applications from a separate manufacturer that was incompatible with Macs, therefore we needed something which was cross-platform and thus would allow us to supervise it all from a single location.
What do you dislike most about this product?
One "defect" that irritates me is whenever you remove a product from dashboard, it’s being reimaged for a further person, if you bring it back into platform, it retains the original device name, like if names have been cached.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
To be honest, it's good enough to justify it. I tried Norton, it was fine, however I didn't enjoy the Interface and it didn't recognize several potentially malicious files. Although with Malwarebytes, I've never really had a problem since regaining access to that in 2015.
Pros
- Effective Service
- Respectful
- Fair
- Helps Innovate

A famous antivirus used to scan files
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates ThreatDown EDR from other similar products?
The security layers provided by Malwarebytes allow a different way to keep our files clean from malware and ransomware. The advantage of this antimalware software is that it combines its own complex and easy-to-use set of tools. Its deep cleaning finds things we didn’t know existed in the system, and we fix it. Web protection prevents online scams, infected sites, and malicious links. It also prevents fraudulent phishing scams, using fake sites to trick you into disclosing confidential information such as your bank account.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
One thing that makes it a great product is its ability to find malware that is always up by other AV solution. Its benefits include background scan and hunt of virus. Malwarebytes protects your home devices and your business endpoints against malware, ransomware, malicious websites, and other advanced online threats.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I feel there should be more options of types of scans to run. Also there pricing has increased dramatically over the last few years and license renewals always require negotiation by us mitigate price increase. Moreover Malwarebytes misses a suspicious application that other security programs catch. Protects against online scammers.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
There should be other features provided for the trial version of the software and sometimes a quick scan fails to download certain active files that needs to be fixed. It has pop ups and bugs while working, it needs to be fixed.
Pros
- Reliable
- Trustworthy
- Saves Time
- Respectful
