I can pay my vendors through bank transfers or even with my credit card, even if they only accept checks. It’s all online, so I don’t have to deal with writing checks or mailing payments anymore. Plus, it syncs perfectly with QuickBooks, which saves me so much time on accounting. There’s no monthly fee, and I only pay if I choose to use my credit card for payments, which is a nice option to have when cash flow is tight. Free ACH Transfers: Many other players in the market charge viewers for ACH transfers. On the contrary, Melio does not charge any fees for such transfers which makes it cost friendly. 2. Choice of Paying Method: The use of Melio makes it possible for one to pay through a bank transfer, a debit card, or even a credit card regardless of whether the supplier only accepts checks or bank transfers. This enhances the company ability to manage its cash flow.

What I love the most about Melio is the variety of payment methods it offers. For small businesses managing cash flow, the option to pay a vendor with a credit card, even if they do not accept cards, is a novel idea. This encourages vendors to delay payments without break any ties, while still generate business credit card rewards or points. It’s a wise solution that works practically and it brings a lot of benefits.

The feature I find least appealing in Melio is its overly constrained international payment functionality. At this time, it mostly facilitates transactions only within the walls of the United States, which tends to be a limitation for businesses that have foreign suppliers. If an enhanced capability for making cross border payments is incorporated into the system, this would immensely make the system more marketable to organizations that have operations in more than one country.
