What differentiates Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics from other similar products?

Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics is comparatively fine-tuning, monitoring, flexibility, and automation. If one wants to use Microsoft Data Platform then Azure is better alternate to work on a large data.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics is simple to use as well customizable. It allows easy and quick configuration and integration. It facilitates data discovery, classification, data masking, and complex security models.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics has no conversion tool for code. Poor support and lack of features are also observed. In case of large data queries it gets hanging. Deployment can be difficult.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Autoscale without downtime may be made available. Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics notebook needs maturity. User interface could provide links to external additional content to help new users. Integration to Azure active directory needs to be strong enough.

What differentiates Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics from other similar products?

Microsoft provides both the platform and the data center, so you don't have to look for a cloud vendor. It saves you from having to deal with two vendors for the same task.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The most valuable feature is the scalability.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The performance needs to improve in future releases.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Unfortunately, we have had some issues with the dashboard reporting. Sometimes, the data for specific periods would just appear blank on the dashboard.
