What differentiates Microsoft Azure Backup from other similar products?

Reliable and trustworthy backup solution that is independent of the neighborhood data center Since we began moving virtual machine workloads to Azure about 1 years ago, we have been making use of Azure Backups throughout this time. Because it is very simple to implement and manage, it is an excellent option for virtual machine backups that are considered to be "simple." This is an obvious choice. Its integration to Microsoft products, such as Windows Virtual Machines and Azure SQL Instances, is very good and reliable thanks to Azure's native feature, which makes this possible.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

One of the most secure and easiest to maintain solutions out there. Your backups are safe and secure, and you don't have to worry about losing them due to a storage device failure. Cost-effectiveness a user-friendly interface that's in keeping with the visual style of Azure Interoperability between Microsoft products (in particular Azure) As a result, Azure Site Recovery is a single service that provides disaster recovery for important systems and backups for systems where significant downtime is acceptable.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Because Azure charges for outgoing traffic, you may not really need to restore any servers from backup, but it's possible that if you do, it will take up significant bandwidth.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

For simple VM backups, Azure Backup is an excellent choice. Azure Backup will operate with your server or application if a snapshot works well for you. It's a full backup of the entire virtual machine. It's up to you whether or not you need granularity in your backups. Increase self-hosting support and minimize upfront costs.

Backup for Servers in Azure 2022

Likeliness to Recommend

7 /10

What differentiates Microsoft Azure Backup from other similar products?

Cross all Enterprise-level servers across the division. Many options are available to meet the needs of the user, such as a daily backup for six months or a combination of daily backups (weekly, monthly, and yearly), access to the user cloud, selected folders, and restricted access to source code.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Best control panel for configuring and selecting what I need, synchronizing and saving the most important files, strong anti-virus defenses, and a backup in case my PC is infected with malicious software backup/restore of virtual machines Data can be restored in a different way. It includes a complete disk restore and a volume mount on the PC.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Learn how to use all of the features that you don't need. It's constantly evolving, so there's nothing new to add.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

You can use Azure Backup to back up everything from your home NAS to production virtual machines to critical databases and anything else you can think of. No, I don't know if there are any situations in which it wouldn't work. You don't need a backup expert to use the interface, and it's simple to set up. Companies with fewer servers should strongly consider this option, and it's even better if those servers are already running in an Azure environment.

  • Helps Innovate
  • Enables Productivity
