What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Users appreciate the ability to work with both SQL and Spark within a single interface, allowing for flexible data processing depending on the workload.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The emergence of Microsoft Fabric as a newer data analytics platform might raise questions about the future direction of Azure Synapse Analytics. Microsoft Fabric might be a more advanced option for certain use cases, potentially rendering Synapse somewhat outdated.

It's not as good as other new age DWH+ competitors

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

They tied to have cutting edge features at the time, but did not work as expected (materialized views for example)

What do you dislike most about this product?

Buggy and expensive, did not live up to the promises made by Microsoft.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Try Snowflake or Databricks instead.
