What differentiates Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines from other similar products?
Depends on what you are looking for. At the time Azure seemed like the best fit and now that we are all situated unless something crazy happens I do not foresee us moving.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The ability to spin up a machine in minutes, along with upgrading old machines in the click of a button.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Wish there were more options and more powerful CPUs.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Do some beta testing in your environment and see if it fits your needs. It is more expensive then on prem but the abilities to continually upgrade and change equipment on the fly is a big add.
