Defender for Endpoint customers need to apply for the Microsoft Threat Experts managed threat hunting service to get proactive Targeted Attack Notifications and to collaborate with experts on demand. Experts on Demand is an add-on service. Targeted Attack Notifications are always included after you have been accepted into Microsoft Threat Experts managed threat hunting service.

My favorite aspect of Microsoft Defender is the automated response functionalities. This streamlines incident handling by enabling automated actions based on predefined policies reducing the overall burden on SOC teams, and minimize response time to emerging threats.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Although i don't have much to write in this section, i would like to highlights defender's potential for false positives and occasional performance issues to be listed amongst the dislikes

there is a lot of feature product supports we need to know them if we are coming from other bakground. if some more walk thru are created it willbe really helpful.

What differentiates Microsoft Defender for Endpoint from other similar products?
The main thing the Microsoft Defender Endpoints is helping look for threats and helping to protect the endpoints in the infrastructure. The chance of false positive detection is very less, and it does a fantastic job in quarantine threats. Compared to products like Sentinel One, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is much superior in terms of identifying and taking necessary action for a threat
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The best part of this product is that it can be easily used with other MS products. The Defender is one of the best products, which very good at detection rates.One of the greatest advantage is that the knowledge base for the Microsoft Defender is very wide whcih makes it stand out from the others. It has one of the best automated investigation and the respective remediation for the same and keeping the endpoint secured. It does its job of protecting the endpoints from various malware and viruses.
What do you dislike most about this product?
To be honest i havent found anything major abount this product.I can say that its bit costly as it is a MS product. However if you are able to pay the price it provides a top notch solution.But still if i have to find a disadvantage i would say initial training for getting accustomed is needed.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Microsoft Defender is evolving with every passing day. I would like to see proactive information and remediation for Zero Day Vulnerabilities.
