What differentiates Microsoft Project from other similar products?
Many areas of my company use Microsoft Project for project management. In my management, we use it to manage all new projects, but also to test new products that will be distributed to other parts of the company. In managing new projects, we track overall progress, phases and milestones, as well as budgetary and financial progress. When testing new products, we try to maintain predictability by avoiding excessive cost overruns and correcting any problems.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Its documentation is well done and, since it has many users, concerns and questions are easily resolved within the community. However, Microsoft technical support is available.
