Awesome product, one of the best in the market!
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Azure DevOps from other similar products?
What sets Azure DevOps apart from the other similar products in the market is the fact that it provides the users a complete suite of tools that cover planning, development, testing, delivery, and monitoring. This is very useful, since a wide array of tools and techniques are covered on one single platform, so you don't need to work with multiple other applications for different things. This end-to-end approach by Azure DevOps therefore makes the ALM easier since it reduces the need to integrate multiple disjointed tools.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect of Azure DevOps is how seamlessly it integrated with the other Microsoft tools, and makes working on projects a lot easier and smooth. The smooth integration of Azure DevOps with Microsoft Visual Studio is very crucial to development projects and increases team productivity substantially. Along with this the CI/CD pipelines of Azure DevOps are robust and have automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
What do you dislike most about this product?
This is a great product, but it also has a steep learning curve. This is especially true for users and teams who are not familiar with the Microsoft products and development tools. If you are looking to customize workflows, it might take some time as it has some complexity to it, which can be resolved by undergoing proper training on the software.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
For someone considering to get Azure DevOps, I would strongly recommend to undergo some training on the product to ensure that you are well prepared for the application and your team can fully utilize the product's potential. This is very important, since there is a steep learning curve associated with the product, and therefore trainings will ensure you are able to utilize the wide array of features Azure DevOps has to offer.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
