Fantastic tool to compliment your MS Stack
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Azure DevOps from other similar products?
Within the healthcare industry, there is a huge amount of products which simply rely on Microsoft technologies from the OS to applications like explorer. Logically it makes sense to source all products from one vendor and invest into this technology stack which is what Azure DevOps benefits from. The main benefit here being that it follows the same levels of intuitiveness as other products being offered, additionally being able to make use of scripting languages like PowerShell with those already knowledgeable in this area is great.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The sheer number of plugins which are on offer and continue to be added are great, we also have the ability to work with AWS which our R&D area prefers to use.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The biggest negative would be the lack of "configuration as code" e.g YAML pipelines do result in some delays, not everything needs to have a GUI.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Great for industries which focus more on Microsoft products, great for those who have some knowledge of windows in general and other offerings e.g Azure, Intune and so on.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Reliable
- Enables Productivity
- Efficient Service

Extremely popular right now

What differentiates Azure DevOps from other similar products?
Azure DevOps helps us in building a work culture where our development and operations team has close bonds so they can work cooperatively and effectively to develop software projects. Azure DevOps has made it possible for us to operate our organization at a faster ever speed than traditional software development models and techniques. DevOps is extremely popular right now for this reason.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
All the tools our development and testing teams need to get the job done and work more effectively are included by default. The most useful feature is the ability to specify and alter things according to our project specifics. The metrics reporting and dashboards are useful tools. We can create bespoke reports in any format like Word and PDF.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It's challenging to adjust things when we are working on something more complex. Finding my menus becomes difficult. The user interface wasn't really appealing, it is not what I expected from them. It still had a somewhat outdated appearance, which made entering and organizing data a little bit more tedious.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
DevOps encourages teamwork, and tight bonds among team members, which improves communication and collaboration as well as put a significant impact on their working time and performance. Azure DevOps is 80 percent faster than standard development frameworks that enable shorter development cycles to get the software ready for market launch.
Pros
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
