What differentiates Nintex from other similar products?
We have been associated with Nintex from the early days. I have worked with other Low Code platforms like Appian, Bizagi and even Microsoft Power Platform. Nintex Low Code platform takes the edge by providing the best designer, connectors and process automation module. The rich and smooth UI along with ease of implementation by far puts the peers behind. Nintex makes improvements and adds features on a regular basis. The vendor support is also great and provides resolution in agreed amount of time. Rarely we have escalations. The community forums provide solutions to address almost all concerns.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The rich UI with ease of development. The sheer number of connectors to integrate with techs and sources. The vendor support to address concerns. The RPA capability and the process automation.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The pricing is on the high end for the license costs. The processes get slower as the implementation gets heavier. Nintex Academy must address on how to built light weight applications and improve the user experience.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Nintex is a great capability when it comes to Process Automation, Workflows, Forms Designing, Citizen Development, ETL and even RPA. This is a must have capability for any organization with Process Automation as its major goal for the year. If you are looking to reduce IT costs, by bringing in Citizen Development, then Low Code Platforms are the way forward and Nintex pioneers in it.
Pros

What differentiates Nintex from other similar products?
Nintex provides a workflow designer, forms designer and Mobile app development studio which provides capability to end user to develop and customize the requirement with minute details. These set of applications target citizen development and bring out the end UX as per the customer needs. It requires very little IT Support and stands on its own capability to deliver great quality services. Compared to Power Platform, Nintex is easy to setup, configure and use.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The simplicity of the designer to drag and drop actions, connectors or controls to the canvas. The easy of scheduling the workflows. The quality and support of the forms and UX support on mobile devices. The mobile studio supports deployment to both IOS and Android. The rise and variety of connectors available to connect to databases and datasets without worrying about storage is astounding
What do you dislike most about this product?
As of now there are not many concerns but yes, most connectors which are actually required for a great build are under premium licenses. The license model could be simpler to support budding developers with developer accounts. The app takes a great deal of time to load when the size of the forms and workflows grow. The workflows takes longer to execute and proper error messages are required to communicate the issues.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Nintex is definitely a must have tool in the organization portfolio for low code or no code development. Organizations looking to empower citizen development must consider and add Nintex to their capabilities. Recommended to have a set of developers to assist with citizen development and often business lacks users to address the development.
Pros
- Efficient Service

What differentiates Nintex from other similar products?
We have tried similar products like Power Platform and LizardSoft but nothing comes to the comparison of Nintex. Nintex integrates easily with most products and a loosely coupled system is the best approach considering the fast changing IT Landscape Nintex Forms provides the best in class canvas with drag and drop to build beautiful forms - mobile ready. Yes, the forms are built mobile ready. Nintex Workflows and NWC studio helps build world class workflows to interact with systems and provide automation at ease. Nintex Studio helps build apps for mobile devices with ease, both android and ios. Nintex RPA is under evaluation.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Nintex supports Low Code- No Code application development. Integrates with SharePoint and other systems seamlessly. Nintex RPA is under evaluation but with RPA Nintex will be able to automate most redundant IT processes. Nintex Forms provides easy drag and drop features with diversified controls to help build beautiful forms. Nintex Workflows provides easy drag and drop features for adding connectors and actions to the workflows. The ease of set up, configuration and development is my favorite.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The slowness due to increase in controls on the forms bothers me. There has to be a way around this issue. The workflows become slow and take time to execute or complete. Workflows getting stuck are tedious to re-run. The manual effort consumed in the same is enormous. Also identifying the root cause and explaining to client is a headache. The pricing model is expensive. It would be good to have developer accounts to learn and test the tool.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Nintex is highly recommended if you want to have a Low Code No Code Solution for Form Designing, Workflows, RPA and Mobile App development. Nintex pricing model may need negotiations but definitely it can be worked around as the benefits from the tool are enormous. The IT Support required to manage and maintain citizen development is negligible considering the benefits.
