What differentiates Nutshell from other similar products?
Definitely an insurgent company, senior management seems earnestly obsessed with user helpfulness. Company has the SW bones to back-up their claims of power, utility and ease-of-use. Software worked out of the (Internet) box without any hand-holding. Have used it for three years with nary a glitch in data access. SF had better watch their back!
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
As with most if not all CRM products, the breadth of features and screens can be intimidating. Once I explained to users that the Search feature is the key to quickly accessing data. they quickly warmed to the product. Favorite Aspect #2 The 'Audience' feature is excellent for recording and managing conference attendance of key contacts. Favorite Aspect #3 Email integration works well and is very easy to use. Not having to switch back and forth between our Email Client and CRM software is a boon to productivity, minimizes distraction (email backlog becomes clickbait; distracting and diverting)
What do you dislike most about this product?
The mysterious and threatening REQUIREMENT to implement Advanced IP Services and Security OR ELSE NO Broadcast emails is irritating, even though it's for my own good. Without an IT person to decode what it all means (an Alphabet Soup of IP Protocols), nor the ability to read, understand and comply with the Nutshell's Helpful (not so much) Tips for Email Security, our push marketing and conference follow-up has ground to a halt.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Have an IT Guy on call, just in case certain key features get turned off because your DMAC has become fungible or indigestible.
