What differentiates Oracle PeopleSoft HCM from other similar products?
I am not 100% sure since I have used PeopleSoft majority of my tenure with my company. The application is extremely useful and allows customized reporting for your specific needs.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love the ability to develop our own queries based on the needs of the business unit functionality. It has been extremely helpful with identifying information regarding employees both faculty and staff.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I would prefer if the program interface with the finance side as well. This would be helpful for instances of managing position funding and etc. It could possible reduce the risk of over encumbering funds for positions and eliminating the risk of budget issues in the future.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I believe that it is a wonderful program with just a few hiccups. Be very clear with the business requirements needed for PeopleSoft but overall it has been extremely helpful with time management of employees, ePerformance, and compensation matters.

What differentiates Oracle PeopleSoft HCM from other similar products?
People soft continues to upscale its programs to become more user friendly. The importance to me is that by doing reviews it allows the company to see where it has strengths, weakenesses,opportunities and Threats. A very easy way to adapt to new ways of thinking to gain more followers and users by being realistic.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
In the modern day technology it’s hard to keep up with all the new tech. As a leader in the retail industry it is really nice knowing how to maneuver through computer Technology without little to no training. For me it’s about getting In there and exploring so that you become more familiar with your surroundings.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It’s always the loading errors and waiting process it takes to get past a glitch. So many people are used to instant gratification it’s hard to be patient and allow the systems to work through their stuff.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Don’t just listen to other peoples opinions, do your own research. Find out the pros and cons and see if what they program offers fits the needs of your business then make it happen.
