Oro is great B2B commerce & headless architecture

What differentiates OroCommerce from other similar products?
OroCommerce has a comprehensive solution in terms of architecture and a headless front-end, which allows a company to quickly adapt their needs without changing much of the backend config. Also, the commercial rules for a B2B company are very flexible when it comes to understanding the type of invoicing, relationship, and payment method. Having a decoupled front and back end, allows the business to quickly improve and evolve the features of your commerce while adapting to UX needs. Also, helps to have a quicker load and fast integration for new channels/functionalities via API.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
What I like the most about OroCommerce is that they have a comprehensive solution for the frontend with SEO-optimized templates that allows to better exposure your brand and organize content management separated from your preferred backend system, considering that users go through different devices while deciding a purchase or to finish a process and it's important to create an easy and fast processing of purchases trough a clear shopping cart and payment options, these are carefully designed and also carefully managed with Oro ERP Connector, so either the customer has a better experience while you manage your orders internally seamlessly
What do you dislike most about this product?
I consider few things I dislike, which can be the success-customer management processes for a B2B e-commerce or marketplace, considering that their experience is with other markets more focused in Europe and USA, but hardly in Latinamerica. However, they are expanding and learning about in´-developing markets where the challenges are different, like old legacy systems for invoicing, data management issues, lack of digitalization, so the support they can offer is limited when it comes to speaking about modernize a whole company and not only create a digital channel
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would definitely recommend it. This is a company that comes from the same Magento/Oracle leadership team but with the greatest focus on B2B, so the features are quite similar with the difference so they are very strong for managing wholesalers, manufacturers, distributors, etc. So, they have a full end-to-end solution that ranges from buyer, merchant, sales, prices features to marketing and IT support They cover a strong implementation and workflows across the systems (ERP, multiple prices, quotes, and orders )while having an excellent user experience to customers with "soft but important" features like landing pages, email engine, etc.
