What differentiates Outreach from other similar products?
The back end support, integrations, and ability to track activity set Outreach above the rest. There are a lot of automation or "Sequencing" companies, but none better than outreach. From setting rules to creating quick responses, it is hands down the best.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Outreach everywhere as a plug in is phenomenal. I can be emailing, searching on LinkedIn or diving through new databases for prospects. If I have an email and phone number I can send quality touches to set meetings.
What do you dislike most about this product?
At times you can get backlogged with tasks. Normal when putting so many people through a new campaign.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Get a data scrubbing tool, integrate with your email, listen to recorded calls, and track experiments. When you find something that is working dig in deep!

What differentiates Outreach from other similar products?
Overall, Outreach's unique combination of omni-channel communication, advanced automation, and collaborative features sets it apart from other similar products in the market. It is also probably most likely to offer integrations with other mainstream sales products as well.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Outreach offers an omni-channel approach to communication, allowing users to reach prospects through various channels like email, phone, and social media. This helps teams engage with prospects on their preferred platform and increases the overall engagement experience. I personally think that Outreach delivers enhanced capability compared to it's peers when it comes to social engagement as well.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The product itself is not intuitive and requires a large and complex implementation experience so much so that it can be intimidating to earlier staged organizations. The price point is a tough nut as well though as opposed to others I personally believe the value is there. They have become a bit immersed in the notion of their status and have lost sight of the need to put the customer front and center.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Outreach has long been known as the "go-to" sales engagement platform, especially for high-growth companies in the tech space. In some ways, it has that Salesforce like status in it's category. While they have continued to innovate and present a formidable and attractive experience when it comes to features and UX, they have tried to focus too much on horizontal growth instead of cementing it's place where it has already succeeded. As a result you have seen other products like Groove begin to gain ground on the marketshare and attractiveness of what to look at when weighing options, especially at the price point of Outreach.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
Cons
- Charges for Enhancements
- Under Delivered
- Leverages Incumbent Status
