What do you dislike most about this product?

- Poor availability of troubleshooting tools, such as traceroute, real-time graphing and SNMP MID navigator among others. - Custom sensor configuration process is complex.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It takes a lot of work and time to set up custom sensors, and getting it to custom fit to monitor the respective process can be a challenge.

What differentiates Paessler PRTG from other similar products?

The tool provides us with a wide range of sensors for various uses (monitoring of mail, network traffic and even local file servers) which is very helpful in terms of preventing anomalies in the IT infrastructure, other tools although they have the same functions have limitations in terms of the number of sensors and monitoring probes.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

One of the aspects in which we have taken a striking advantage is the monitoring of email traffic through the SMTP protocol, due to the constant interaction with our users through the mail platform, we have detected attempts of intrusions through malicious emails which were detected in a timely manner and alerted thanks to the preconfigured alerts.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Unfortunately, the licensing is given by sensors and not by devices and this is reflected in the cost of the licensing.
