What differentiates Pega Platform from other similar products?
All code and database are in one place. Low / no coding.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
No need for a separate source control application. Rule changes are stored in the system for development and audit purposes.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Not all the features of the product has been fully tested.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
The recent decision made for Pega 8 which is not to provide Hotfixes to clients and force them to upgrade their Pega platform to a higher version to receive bug fixes and enhancements makes it very difficult and costly for clients to maintain their environment.

What differentiates Pega Platform from other similar products?
Integrations Availability to All Source systems such as DB,Kafka,Mainframes,Email text analyzer for language processing /Files processing Easy to show the application in business understandable manner and allows to delegate the application administrator to citizen developer and business users. Less Support Cost after moving to Pega Cloud
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Data Integration Avaiability Easy to design and implement Support for parallel processing and GetNextWork/AI/NLP/decisioning/Customer Hub suggestions to customer to choose the best producs available.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Cost/Price for the Pega Product Support Price is also quite high Now with the Pega cloud it is very restricted access available .No Database access, No retry mechanism on File Listener Services etc,No Push support for connect direct
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Surely use this product but also take a view at appian products features . If the features are not available in appian OR large programme with the iterative development approach where there is a need to build the code for change for every iteration (or need flexibility to be integrated to many application) . Go for Pega PRPC. Try to use the new features such as Pega Robotics, AI,NLP ,decisioning,Collections etc.
