Sinking ship last year. Who knows now
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Playbooks by InsideSales from other similar products?
They are really good at corporate takeovers and removing all the support staff that made the product great. They excelled at ensuring the Xant playbooks customer base was sold on other products instead of restoring basic functionality of a previously great product.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
When it worked, the scoreboard and the custom photos we could add.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The whole system went down for not just my department but all of my organization's sales team. The solution was to sell us other products instead of just fixing what they broke, by firing all the staff that knew how to work on it. It was like the crew of the Titanic were teleported away right after hitting the iceberg and the response to the sinking ship was "I see that you're sinking. Would you like to take a look at these other cruise packages?"
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It's been a year since I've used it and 6 months since I left the company that used the software. That being said, if they've fixed the issues and propose real solutions instead of selling something new, then playbooks is worth a go
Pros
- Unique Features
- Friendly Negotiation
- Appreciates Incumbent Status
- Security Protects
Cons
- Less Reliable
- Less Caring
- Less Generous
