Fantastic PLM but expensive for large teams

What differentiates PTC Arena from other similar products?
Ease of use and web based collaboration make it a winner for high performance development teams.

Web based and intended for collaborative development of products.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The larger the team the more out-of-whack the pricing structure. Without floating seat licensing, larger companies will struggle to pay for the required number of seats and will go with a fixed annual contract from another vendor instead. Arena really needs to consider bulk-seat licensing and discounting that is more in line with other competitors. Additionally Arena should just get rid of pricing information since building a 2-way adapter (into ERP) is nearly impossible. Would be nice if pricing worked and an input adapter was easy to build/maintain, but this is not the reality.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Easy to implement as a small team inside a larger company. Can effectively link to large-corporate ERP with a small scale adapter.
