What differentiates Rhino 8 from other similar products?
Rhino is a lot more flexible in terms of 3D modeling complex shapes. Autodesk is better for creating architectural/engineering drawings, but Rhino can be used by anyone who wants to create something in 3D. There are also a lot of plug-ins that can make Rhino even better
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Being able to create objects at will, not relying on additional properties or boundaries like other CADD software. Rhino lets you create whatever you want.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It took awhile to learn - it isn't as intuitive as I would have liked as a student new to the field.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Find some resources to help learn the basics and then when you want to do something, look for help! There are people out there who are masters at using this software.
