What differentiates Rubrik Cloud Data Management from other similar products?

Everything that I need is available. My favorite feature is their ability to perform modifications and open tunnels so they may investigate problems. Nobody skimps on their explanations or updates. Using Polaris, cluster upgrades are now straightforward. Management is automated through a single programming interface in hybrid and multi-cloud configurations.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Rubrik is evidence that success depends on investing in the product and the team who created it. I've worked with many vendors, but Rubrik's support is the finest. The support engineers are competent and polite. I've never feared contacting Rubrik support because I know I'll hear back from them immediately, either by email or phone. My favorite element is customer help (access, tickets, professionalism, ease of resolution, upgrades, frequency, details, troubleshooting, etc.).

What do you dislike most about this product?

Assistance can take some time to find a solution when we raise issues because it is sometimes still very fresh. For VMs, they said it was agentless. However, due to the size of the backup files, we still had to install the agent on those workstations. There are occasionally pushy salespeople here.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

With their out-of-the-box immutable storage, implementing One Time Password (MFA) authentication, and finally implementing a secured SLA (prevent zeroing out) to protect the data with multiple tiers needed to stop threat actors from drastically altering the protection, they can keep their data safe. It only took one day to implement, and that day was remote!

What differentiates Rubrik Cloud Data Management from other similar products?

A specific policy engine powers Rubrik, orchestrating service level commitments (SLAs) throughout the data lifecycle. One programmable interface is used to automate management across hybrid and multi-cloud systems. Rubrik's software also generates specialized reports and data visualizations for user platforms on operational effectiveness, safety, and capacity utilization.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Those who have worked in IT for even a short time will find Rubrik to be quite simple to learn. But being straightforward does not imply that it is devoid of features in any way. Compared to rivals using Rubrik has been far less problematic for me. The ability to search for specific file names and the restores whether of a single file, an entire virtual machine, or a disk are, in my opinion, the best capabilities.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Although it happens very infrequently over thousands of items, there are occasionally virtual machines that do not backup on the agent. This could be because of hardware compatibility. To fix this, just take a picture and store it. We experience a delay because of the bootstrap procedure. Rubrik's cluster configuration process is hurried and well organized.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

We frequently need to meet criteria for login details, flexibility, and a smooth end-user experience, and Rubrik makes these distribution patterns convenient and sustainable. Rubrik adheres to our SOP well, and we have quick access to our data even in the case of server failure, data loss, or ransomware assaults. Rubrik's zero trust architecture protects all apps connected to our company's network, and only approved job functions can obtain data.

Rubrik offers fine-grained role-based network access and automatic compliance reporting for numerous internal and external inspections.

It is a solid option for enduring the worst circumstances and is essential in everyday IT operations. Using the straightforward UI, you can browse backups and the data included.
