What differentiates Salesforce Sales Cloud Enterprise from other similar products?
You own the product in a sense. You can customize a lot to fit your business and needs however you need someone to learn how to configure and maintain it. The more someone knows and understands what Salesforce can do and how to do, the more you can get out of it. The technology is great and it opens the door for you to use it in so many ways. The reports and dashboards can really bring accountability to different groups and if leadership can buy in, then you'll be more successful. There is also a lot of help out there in the community which is great for someone learning to become an admin.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
How customizable it is and how much you can use Salesforce for (not just sales)
What do you dislike most about this product?
Sometimes it may involve more clicks than desired. In a fast paced modern and technology heavy world, it may not always do what you want it to. For example, there aren't as many drag and drop features ability. Sometimes new set of features is packaged into a new product and you may need other apps integrated into Salesforce to get other functionality needed.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Think through if there will be someone internally or a managed service partner that will be able to maintain, improve, and constantly configure Salesforce to get the most value. Understand how it will specifically help your business and processes and not just the high level prettiness of it all. Go deep into demos.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Helps Innovate
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
Cons
- Less Efficient Service
- Less Effective Service
- Less Caring
