A great product and great company

What differentiates Sassafras AllSight from other similar products?
The people of Sassafras. They are high touch with their customers. Sassafras builds its relationship to then better improve their product. They do their best to integrate with your environment and then seek to roadmap product enhancements to improve integrations, reporting, and analytics.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The volume of information that Sassafras can pull from a single asset as it runs audit. The hardware specifications, hardware/software/user usage information, and mapping have all been valuable tools, and we are only scratching the surface currently.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The differences in experience and information available between the web portal and the local client can be challenging. We've had a few issues learning and creating reporting that can then be exported and analyzed.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are looking for an asset management system that can integrate well with your ITSM tool, and in our case, TeamDynamix, Sassafras is an excellent choice. Their people are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and amazing to work with. The tool relatively easy to use and integrate. It is highly adaptive to the maturity level of your IT department. You can get as much or as little as you want out of it, I've been nothing but impressed and looking forward to continued partnership with them.
Pros
- Trustworthy
- Respectful
- Fair

Great Product - Even better support!

What differentiates Sassafras AllSight from other similar products?
Excellent support! They are a small company, but this is a huge advantage in my book. Easier to get hold of for support and they make updates and changes much quicker than larger companies.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Contacting support and getting a hold of someone that day and scheduling a call for simplest help running a report to a massive in place upgrade. You always get, fast responsive, help!
What do you dislike most about this product?
I like the speed and efficiency of the desktop admin console, however all of the development is in the new web based administration. I am of course more familiar with "the old school" way of doing reports, but it seems much faster and easier for me run instead of the web based administration.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Excellent support, multi platform client and administration features. Love the Key-map features for remote connectivity. Really helped us out during the COVID lock downs for students being able to remotely connect to workstations to complete coursework. I believe we were one of the first college's to implement this feature with vendor support.
