What differentiates Schoology Learning from other similar products?
Schoology is a learning management system that does one thing very well - blended/flipped classrooms work excellently where faculty are solely responsible for building their courses on their own. It does not handle online course management very well. Ease of use is really what makes Schoology shine - when we switched from our old LMS we saw an exponential increase in faculty use.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Ease of use, particularly for classrooms that are primarily face to face and you only need it for limited learning activities and instruction. As I said previously, we moved from roughly 30% faculty use of the LMS to over 90% when we switched to Schoology. It is very easy to facilitate, communicate, and students find it easy to use as well.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Features ended up not being a good fit for higher education, from broken promises about features useful for us (as opposed to their K12 audience which got all they asked for), to management of fully online programs which was very challenging. Analytics left us wanting, as did many of the "new" features which never really worked as advertised.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are primarily a face to face institution with a need to do some learning online, and faculty usage rate is a primary concern, Schoology is a simple and easy to use platform. We found many of our faculty leery about online learning willing to engage with this platform. It's really ideal for K-12 and i'm not sure I could any longer encourage it's use in higher education for most institutions.

In terms of online virtual learning, Schoology has been a real game-changer for our school. Without the traditional classroom, we would have fallen behind other institutions. As a result of Schoology, our educators and students now have additional opportunities to use evaluations, conversation, and interaction inside. Schoology has a great design. When it comes to Schoology LMS, it has an As a result, it's easy for students and teachers to find materials Visuals and directions may be easily accessed by embedding or attaching content to websites.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Input from and comments from teachers should be quicker on Schoology Incorporating new e-learning systems will save up instructors' time while also allowing them to create new content The problem with grade books is that they can't be erased until a student has dropped out of either program. As of now, there are still a few limits, and it isn't suitable for children under the age of five.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
As a learning management system for high school students, Schoology As well as offering a wide range of learning techniques, It also visually appealing and vibrant. When there are over 100 students in a class, the grade book might be a little difficult to navigate In addition, Schoology makes it easy to share materials with other teammates.
