I used Lessonly before the Seismic acquisition so it may have changed over the last few months, but the biggest differentiator was their LlamaNation community. Such a great resource for LMS managers.

What differentiates Seismic Learning from other similar products?
I've only used lesson.ly and workday learning. I prefer Lesson.ly because of the focus they have on LMS, while workday manages much more. Lesson.ly quizes are much more robust.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I always appreciated the ease of content set up and creation.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The UI is isn't great. It could use some updates to the UX as well. Modernization.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you don't have an LMS yet, consider the product's ability to scale with your team. How easy is it to update and create content as your team grows?
Pros
- Reliable
- Respectful
- Client Friendly Policies
- Acts with Integrity

Unique features tailored for Sales & CS enablement
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Seismic Learning from other similar products?
Lessonly's ease of implementation, integration into our tech stack, and course authoring simplicity are wonderful. Because they focused on CS and Sales Enablement, there are some unique features that set them apart - creating scenarios in which learners respond via screen recording, audio recording, video recording, email practice, customer service chat practice, and more. It's a wonderful feature set. In addition, it's easy to use for both learner and creator - simple enough for anyone to use, but with enough features to create some quality content.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The support we've received from our account manager has been excellent - recommending new or unique ways to leverage the product for our company, helping us with strategic decisions, they've been wonderful. They take the time to be familiar with how we're implementing the product and are always looking to help us improve and get a full return on our investment.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Although it truly is easy to design learning experiences on this platform, its simplicity can be a double-edged sword. There are times when we want to create learning experiences that involve more than clicking through to the next screen. Branched learning experiences, interactivity, and other features you might see in other course authoring software aren't natively available.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you're looking at training sales or customer service employees, Lessonly is an LMS that you need to be considering. For us, it's been an invaluable tool to level up our customer's experience because of how much learning and practice our agents get before ever going live with customers.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Trustworthy
- Respectful
- Transparent
