the best team communication tool on the market
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
Ease of use and it's integration with all of the tools I use on a daily basis like google integration. Huddle is such a great tool, I use it on a daily basis. It skips all the steps of having to hop on a video call.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The organized channels are great to have structured conversations based on topics and teams. I also really enjoy huddle for quick chats and stand up especially for tech companies. They support a lot of integration and collaboration tools like polling, reminders, etc. that makes it really easy to work with a remote team.
What do you dislike most about this product?
They recently made a change that takes extra clicks to get into Direct Message. It adds one extra click every time I want to message someone.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Play around and set clear communication protocols and channel structures with the team. Don't be afraid to iterate until something works. Invest time in setting up integrations for seamless workflow. It's a game-changer if done correctly.
