Awesome team communication solution
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
SLACK help us transition from delayed to real-time communication, allowing us to get instant responses and work smartly even in travel. Messages are fully accessible and consolidated, making it simple for our new team members to catch up on team discussions. SLACK is one of the most popular and well-integrated platforms available today.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
A search filter that aids us in our search for a specific file based on type, previously viewed, or relevancy is my favorite. SLACK also comes with dedicated apps for Android and iOS devices, making it easy to use on the road and because of these reasons I really admire it and love to use it on daily basis for not only business work but also for personal use.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The alerting system doesn't work to its potential on mobile, notifications aren't always reliable, and I often have issues with third-party applications. I don't like the fact that only administrators can build channels. Learning how to automate tasks, shortcuts, and functionality can take some time; this can be accelerated with decent coaching and a smoother user experience.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
SLACK is a collaboration application that allows users to send and receive messages in real-time as well as archive, find, and share documents. It assures users of long-term flexibility and wide integration. And because this instant messaging platform offers a user-friendly and responsive dashboard, actions may be completed faster.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Unique Features
- Effective Service

When used as a way to communicate with a community, it can get really noisy and receive too many notifications

if you have a community for your clients, it's a great tool to use for communication and collaboration to get work done and keep up with what others are doing, without the need for a Facebook group.

What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
Slack is where team announcements, as well as information on webinars, conferences, and noteworthy publications, are shared. And all these things save time. Slack has a large number of emoticons, making it simple to communicate feelings about communication and provide comments. In a Slack call, we can invite more than one coworker like in a group call.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
We use Slack to communicate with coworkers on a regular basis. We have multiple "channels" set up with various departments, making it extremely simple to convey a message to only those who need to be notified. But sometimes instead of opening a separate channel, we may have several people in a conversation, which I think is a fantastic option. Slack is also useful when you need to get data from webhooks and display it in a channel.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The iOS version of Slack does not, unfortunately, support landscape orientation. Sometimes it might be difficult to locate messages. Existing reminders can't be readily edited; you'll have to erase and rebuild them. And a little bit pricey. Aside from that, Slack is the greatest alternative.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It works effectively in smaller organizations but not so well in larger ones. It can be a little confusing to utilize this program on a wide basis. It is also feasible for small businesses to pay the prices at which it is given. As a result, everybody who enjoys learning should utilize this program.
Pros
- Inspires Innovation
- Client Friendly Policies
- Helps Innovate
- Reliable
