Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
The intuitive design makes Slack easy to use. Despire having many features, it still looks solid and formal unlike competitor platforms that often look casual.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like Slack because it allows users to form channels where they share information with specific to their projects. I also like the daily threads that gives everyone a chance to share or read what other people think. Slack makes it easy for me to chat with my boss when he is online, unlike sending emails which may go unanswered, and you can never tell whether they read it.
What do you dislike most about this product?
We tend to waste few minutes now and then on Slack chatting with colleagues, especially matters relating to our workplace. Although we keep in touch and find information easily, someone might spend more time on the platform if they are not careful. They also send too many emails notifying you of everything happening on Slack. This tempts you to keep checking Slack
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Consider limiting the time you spend on Slack in the workplace. You can restrict chats to specific issues and encourage everyone to stick to the relevant topics to avoid diverging into personal discussions in the workplace.
