What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
One of the things I like the most about slack is you can group your conversations into families. Then you can create calls and notes with those families. This is different than a channel and that slight difference goes a long way.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect is the seamlessness between the phone and the desktop applications. The catch up feature on the phone application is so clutch. Super easy to see all the things you missed in one convenient location.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I wish there was a way to change the name of conversations. I have several group convos where only one person is different, so just being able to rename a group conversation to anything would be amazing.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are using google and Mac products I would highly recommend giving slack a go as it seamlessly integrates with both technology and makes team file sharing significantly improved.
