Great and easy product to use for automation

What differentiates Swimlane from other similar products?

Swimlane automation tool is powerful. It is easy to use and provides a lot of great benefits. We can use automation which takes less time than performing the job manually. This frees up time so we can work on other projects. With many APIs, we can integrate with 3rd party tools and automate the 3rd party tools. By using Swimlane, no one on our team needs to learn how to script in Python. Swimlane does all the scripting in the background for you. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for an automation solution. This will make your job much easier and time efficient.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The built-in dashboard and the workflow charts are great features. Also, automation is one of the easier tools to use. It's like pushing a button and you are done. Simple 1,2,3 steps.

What do you dislike most about this product?

When we first rolled it out, we ran it on a Windows machine. Every time we had to upgrade Swimlane, the process was difficult and tedious. Now, since we migrated Swimlane over to Linux, the upgrade is much better and a whole lot easier.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are looking for an automation tool that is easy to use, doesn't require your staff to know Python. A little Python would be helpful but not required. If you like nice-looking dashboards, a centralized management portal, then Swimlane is the product for you. I would give it a try, do a POC to see if it's the right fit for your company. We did just that and we are glad that we took the chance on this product.
