Robust hardware that’s durable in a high-turnover environment and supports essential restaurant workflows. Toast’s comprehensive reporting, loyalty programs, and integrated online ordering for pickup and delivery make it a powerful all-in-one solution.

The pricing structure can be complex and may become costly for smaller businesses and there is a limited customization in certain modules.

Absolutely phenomenal, but one caveat
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Toast POS from other similar products?
Toast is incredibly intuitive, exceptional, and integrating multiple operational features, and report options, and has what seems to be the most contemporary, up-to-date, speed, and feature combination. It is one of the most common POS systems in our area and most new hires already have experience with it, making onboarding even faster.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The ease of integration with handhelds, along with real time visuals remotely are tied for first place.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The only thing I have disliked in the entire process is the transitional and installation process. The sales team is absolutely phenomenal. The actual installation and transitional team left much to be desired, and there was very limited support in the first few days of business. There were a lot of hiccups, a lot of things missed during the actual implementation and I've heard this same experience from a number of other Business owners in my area. 24 hour Support in the first week and a few implementation representatives that is more dedicated would have been much better as the bar industry operates long hours.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would highly recommend getting this product and doing a full test of every single item and function prior to releasing the installation representative. The hiccups in the first weekend cost a significant amount of business and the staff feeling frustrated and unsure about the system. Now they love it, after working out unaddressed items.
