Ideal for sending out messages to clients

What differentiates Twilio MessagingX from other similar products?
Twilio Messaging lets me send out group text messages to large lists of people that include several hundred cellphones all at the same time. This helps me to be more productive when new opportunities are made available. I asked our technical specialist and she said that Twilio was the only service capable of sending hundreds of messages at the same time without a delay.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favourite aspect of using Twilio Messaging is how I am able to send a message to several hundred people at the same time and be sure they received it immediately. We had been using another messaging service previously and it would get delayed, with messages trickling out over one or two days. This was not beneficial to us as by then the opportunity had expired, or we would have missed good candidates for the position.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The web control panel is really complicated! I would like to see them make Twilio Messaging easier to use for the non-technical users. I'm sure they would increase their market share if everyone was able to use it.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
When using Twilio Messaging I recommend you pick a local telephone number. The reason for my thinking of doing this is that it looks better to have a local telephone number appearing on the screen as opposed to a number on the other side of the country. You can choose any area code you want with this service.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Includes Product Enhancements
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable

What differentiates Twilio MessagingX from other similar products?
Effectiveness and ease of API integration.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Pure automation. Account top-up and service delivery of SMS through API are so in sync that once integrated, we rarely bothered about the service.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Pricing-wise we've been dealing with other service providers that are significantly cheap, but Twilio's effectiveness knocks others out of the park, so we make peace with pricing.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This is a good vendor for SMS delivery. I'd recommend not to think much about pricing and go ahead and implement it readily in your solution stack.

What differentiates Twilio MessagingX from other similar products?
Twilio has a large range of services related to telecoms. It is not just text messaging. They also have voice telephone services, fax, and various authentication services. It is convenient to have all these services from a single provider and control panel.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favourite aspect of using Twilio Messaging is having all the various services under one control panel. I can quickly create a new telephone number and use it with messaging and VOIP, without having to have separate providers. This is efficient technically, and also efficient for billing, which can be a challenge in a small business.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I dislike the big company feel that Twilio has become. I want to give cheaper providers / underdogs a chance, so I expect we will plan to migrate some of our messaging services to alternative providers this year or next year.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I recommend to someone considering this product, to read through the technical documentation (which is laid out very clearly), to see if it is a fit for your own architecture. It was a great fit for ours, which made implementation a pleasure.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Reliable
- Enables Productivity
- Saves Time
Cons
- Commodity Features
- Less Inspiring
- Leverages Incumbent Status
