Great option for DaaS with included support
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates V2 Cloud from other similar products?
Most of there vendors are much more expensive, have poor VM performance and/or restrict what programs can be run on the VM you are paying for, and do not include built in IT support for connection and VM configuration issues. V2 Cloud avoids all of these problems while providing very competitive, flat pricing.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The VM performance is powerful enough that I rarely experience lag. This is very rare among the DaaS offerings from other vendors I tried. They also do not attempt to place any restrictions on which applications are run on the VM - it is just a virtual PC that you can use however you wish.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The support, while responsive, does not properly factor in prior service tickets when contacted. One of our VMs had issues with frequently disconnecting the user repeatedly throughout the day, requiring many different conversations with support. It felt like they started from zero each time as they kept ordering the same ineffective troubleshooting steps which wasted a lot of time and was frustrating. The problem did eventually get resolved however.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I recommend V2 as a DaaS solution and have been quite satisfied overall for the cost and performance.
