What differentiates Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) from other similar products?

ICM allows users to build dynamic incentive plans in an intuitive way and report on the calculated results and data inputs. The detail and customization is above the competition and the rate of improvement is unmatched. Varicent really earns your trust.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The level of engagement with Varicent leads the industry, in my experience. They really put in the time and effort to communicate and get to know your needs. One of the top aspects of ICM is the ability to build as simple or complex incentive plans as you need. From clawbacks, adjustments, time shifts, prorations, hierarchy rollups, etc. all of it is possible to build if you understand the logic.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Calculation times can be really long and during that time, you cannot do anything in the environment where the calc is running.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Incentive plan building and audit trails are the key feature and strength of the ICM application. One area that isn't as strong, though they are trying to rapidly improve this, is dashboard and reporting.
