What differentiates Veeam Data Platform from other similar products?

It provides an easy to use VM backup which is reliable.It brings high ROI on virtual servers and best for migration of large data.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like the speed it produces for backing up data. Reliable restores. Easy to use UI. It provides comprehensive reports on the backup process. It offers fast replication of virtual machines.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is not compatible with Citrix XenServer Hypervisor infrastructure.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is highly reliable and its rare to experience any flaws.It is affordable as th licesce model are fair in price.Best tool for backing up virutal machines.

Its an easy to use platform and this makes reliable and convenient to adopt in any company. Customer support is offered by the vendor and this is efficient when stuck while using the platform.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its versatility and protection service by giving us the ability to back up our data and materials conveniently.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some of our less tech-savvy employees took some time in learning how to use the platform.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Its reliable and it fits even in small and medium enterprises thereby helping them manage their data and ,materials in a reliable manner.

Recovery Automation Orchestrate faster recover of the right pieces to bring them up in the right order and built automated recovery plans

Virtual Machine Backup Automatically discovers and protects VMs as they come online, move, and change. Production VMs are replicated to a secondary data store.

Backup Automation Solution automates backup, recovery and remediation tasks using RestAPI and CLI to integrate with 3rd party solutions, reduce cost and enforce standards.

Replication for High Availability Beyond secondary copy backup, the solution also manages replication of primary data host-to-host and site-to-site for live failover and high availability.

Replication for Long Term Storage and Disaster Recovery Onsite backup data is replicated and stored to a public cloud (AWS, Azure). Can also include restore-to-cloud capabilities for Disaster Recovery as a Service.

Deduplication Implementation Deduplication of redundant data blocks is implemented by the solution. Deduplication can be at source, target, or globally (source and target).

File Explorer Granular Restore Individual files can be located and restored from backup media without the need for full system mounting and restore.

Backup Monitoring and Reporting Backup and replication are continually monitored for status and effectiveness. Detailed reporting is available on successful and unsuccessful operations.

Physical Backup for Multiple Platforms Backs up data and system info for non-virtualized systems. Primarily Windows and Linux servers but also, potentially, AIX, Unix and others.

Integration With Storage Arrays Integrates with APIs from major storage vendors (NetApp, HP, Dell EMC) to leverage capabilities in these arrays such as data snapshots and replication.

Backup of Cloud Based Data In addition to targeting backups to the cloud, the solution also has the capability to back up primary data and services already in the cloud.
