What differentiates Veeam Data Platform from other similar products?

So, what makes Veeam Backup stand out from the crowd? Well, it's really nailed reliability and features, especially if you're dealing with virtual machines. One thing I love is how it can recover specific applications and play nice with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. That's pretty unique

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Of course, it's not all roses. The new subscription pricing can hit your wallet hard, particularly for smaller outfits.

What do you dislike most about this product?

If you're thinking about giving Veeam a shot, I'd say go for it, especially if you're running a lot of virtual workloads. It's a solid choice for keeping your data safe and recoverable. Just keep in mind it's on the pricier side, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I'd recommend Veeam for any organization, particularly those with a significant number of virtualized workloads. It's a robust solution that offers excellent data protection and recovery capabilities

Veeam let me trust my data won't lost by accident

What differentiates Veeam Data Platform from other similar products?

I can install Veeam on different computer and connecting to Veeam server to complete backup tasks control

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

configuration backup function let me easily restore Veeam when the Veeam server computer system is crush. I always can restore data from history backup when our users lost file or modify file by accident.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I wish Veeam task report can provide more details and If the backup data source disk has some issue, the backup task will be able to bypass the error. For example, once a while, I have a backup task backing up 2GB data from Windows file server disk to USB disk, it had been keep failing, and source disk scandisk has no error, finally I have to move the data from Windows file server to NAS box, now the backup tasks are running well, however I still wish the backup task can bypass the bad disk sector and fill in report which files or folders are failed to backup.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Veeam is a trustful backup tool for IT management

Veeam stands out because it can handle the ever-growing data monster that comes with our projects.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

When a critical project file gets corrupted during construction, I can pinpoint the exact version I need in seconds and get things back rolling.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Veeam is powerful, but setting it up can be tricky.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Before you jump in, get a grip on your data volume and IT resources. If you have a dedicated IT team, Veeam is a lifesaver.

AI enhanced predictive backup Use AI to suggest weaknesses or inefficiencies in backup policies

Backup Automation Solution automates backup, recovery and remediation tasks using RestAPI and CLI to integrate with 3rd party solutions, reduce cost and enforce standards.
