What differentiates VMware Aria Operations from other similar products?
We transition our standard accounting and payroll system from VMware and vSphere to the cloud using VMware Cloud on AWS. Because VMware offers tools to verify the hardware and software we require and ensure we have adequate components to execute our system, we won't need to change our infrastructure or implementation while switching to AWS. AWS and VMware provide excellent services, and the transfer procedure is simple.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The simplicity of use and VMware Cloud on AWS's ability to upgrade and extend the current on premise apps to the cloud are two of its most compelling characteristics. Adapting a VMware infrastructure to software upgrades has been challenging. You can update all the system parts without interruption using VMware-certified software versions thanks to the integrated SDDC Manager.
What do you dislike most about this product?
NSX can manage security services and a virtual network in a simple mode but not in an advanced one. For clients who want to control the workload of virtual machines, the pool of computing resources is highly constricted. Although learning the system can be difficult at first, VMware Cloud on AWS will let you accomplish everything after you become used to the documentation.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
The user interface is fairly simple to use. My experience using VMware Cloud on AWS has been positive. This is the simplest and quickest way to go to the public cloud, despite its constrained capabilities and more expensive membership plan. Some regions also offer less flexibility regarding the kind of computation that may be done and the available nodes.
