Good product, but do your research!
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates WalkMe from other similar products?
I'd say that WalkMe has given us a lot of support (we use the product in a very unique way). WalkMe has realized that we are a very unique client and thus opened the doors to more elevated support/communication. That is a main differentiator to us... the relationship/support. I'd also say that we notice updates happen quickly and lots of product improvements.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Analytics - WalkMe has a great hub for looking into what content is used, played, ignored, etc. You can look at things high-level but also dive deeper if needed. I also like to set goals on some of our content and see how people interact with certain content features.
What do you dislike most about this product?
We can't use the product out of the box so we've had to make many "work arounds" to get the product to work the way we want. We didn't realize this throughout the sales process. We are a single page application so can't segment content based off of URL (the easiest way to build content). It's taken some time to get it right...
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Do your research! Make sure that WalkMe will work with your product. Also consider training/staffing... Since we were newer to a DAP product it took us a while to navigate process ownership. There also isn't a lot of talent out there that is familiar with WalkMe (like finding a needle in a hay stack). So think about long term content management, etc. I had to work very closely with HR to find talent that knew WalkMe and it was hard to pull resumes with WalkMe experience.
Pros
- Respectful
- Performance Enhancing
- Continually Improving Product
- Enables Productivity
Cons
- Under Delivered
- Vendor's Interest First
- Less Effective Service
