What differentiates WorkRamp LMS from other similar products?
Now that I've used a few LMSes geared both at non-profits (education) and startups, I really took a liking to WorkRamp. The ability to customize delivery of content to users on the backend is way ahead of their peers with greater name recognition, and access to a CSM was something that I had that I haven't been offered with my new organization's LMS. Although I wasn't involved in price conversations, I got the clear impression that WorkRamp delivered a far greater value and ROI than many of their peers, and I can attest to the delivery piece. I lost quite a few functions when I changed jobs and had to use a much flashier LMS.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
For me, it was the quiz administration. WorkRamp has the ability to bake a rubric or other types of assessments into student assignments, and this kept all the grading and feedback within WorkRamp. Now that I'm at a new organization using a different tool, I have to do all of that outside of the product and in our project management tool. I also enjoyed WorkRamp's ability to automatically assign paths/lessons based on a certain number of days after a new employee's start date. This level of customization and automation doesn't exist across the board.
What do you dislike most about this product?
At the time I used it, the UI was clean but still very... vanilla? It definitely needed a modernization to help catch the eye of many decision-makers. Unfortunately at the time, my organization's leader was against purchasing the customer-facing part of WorkRamp until they updated the UI to be more visually appealing. It simply wasn't on par with our own marketing and visual standards.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If the price beats some of the bigger names, absolutely give it a shot. You certainly won't be disappointed in the functionality and support!
