What differentiates Zoom from other similar products?
There are a lot of similar solutions out there. In my experience, Zoom is the most reliable. A lot of the other ones seem to crash more often or not have the same connect, even with the same internet connection. It's also a very intuitive solution. I'm an account executive, so external clients join my calls all the time. I rarely have any issues where they have trouble figuring out the solution.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The ease of use is the bet part of this solution. I utilize most of the product feature. I do both audio and video calls daily. These are both external and internal calls. I share a lot of decks as well as use the screen share to demo our product to prospects. I don't use the chat feature often, but in previous roles, this feature has been extremely helpful for larger calls.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There are a lot of setting for your personal meeting ID. This has a lot of upside, however I've had a few issues where my setting wouldn't allow others to share or something like that. I've been able to change these settings and overall am a fan of the solution.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would spend sometime in your Zoom setting to make sure that they match how you plan to utilize the solution. For my role, I need I others to be able to screen share. I know in other roles, you may want to prevent this. I also think adding a picture to your profiles makes difference for remote selling and even remote internal meetings.
