What differentiates Alert Logic MDR from other similar products?
The option for multi-factor authentication is not available (to my knowledge, for all I know it may be hidden deep in the UI somewhere). An unusual omission for a security tool.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It unquestionably accomplishes its goal of capturing and providing traffic, threats, and intrusions as they happen. Alert Logic, not the various secondary security systems I have in place, has detected every issue I've had to deal with in the last couple of years. Our AWS system requires the deployment of a modest, unobtrusive agent that will capture all of the traffic on our AWS instances.
What do you dislike most about this product?
In overall, the UI is a mess. It can be challenging to locate what you need at times, and even after using the tool for more than two years, I frequently get lost. The option for multi-factor authentication is not available (to my knowledge, for all I know it may be hidden deep in the UI somewhere).
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Since we've been using Alertlogic for a while, especially the threat manager, we're confident that the service is giving us a high level of security and protection.
