What differentiates Asana from other similar products?
What is very useful is that it allows various views of the project in the form of lists, boards, timelines, calendars, workflows, and more. There are so many choices! We can use it intensively or just assign tasks the easiest way. I tried a lot of different task managers and they all started adding things that ended up being just complicated stuff. Asana is the first step to ditch email and start using the manager.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Simple, install anywhere, easy to run, and collaborate with the team. The templates feature is probably one of my favorites, and I’ve bought templates a few times because I’m very good at using the system, although I’m not very good at creating them from scratch.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I don’t know if this is still the case because I started using Asana about 5 years ago, but the integration was difficult. I had to find someone outside of Asana to help me, but then everything went fine and I ended up buying some of their templates.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
With a user-friendly, intuitive platform, Asana makes it simple for independent contractors to collaborate with clients and streamline project management. I can handle everything in Asana rather than in lengthy email threads with clients, which boosts productivity and communication. The best feature is that it enables the division of major projects into smaller jobs while offering greater flexibility and more views than other tools of a similar nature, including lists, calendars, workflow, and timelines.
