What differentiates BigCommerce from other similar products?

Everyone should know by now that BigcommerceBigcommerce's subscription options are superior to its competitors. Bigcommerce does not compel you to utilize its in-house merchant credit card provider and does not assess transaction fees. Bigcommerce is my go-to e-commerce platform because they really care about its clients and are always there to assist with any issues that may arise.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Bigcommerce's commitment to its customers and the transparency with which it discusses support issues and planned features are two reasons we have stuck with them rather than switching to another e-commerce platform. The availability of third-party apps has proven helpful and convenient thus far. Extremely simple in both implementation and comprehension. Their tech support staff is responsive and ready to assist by phone, chat, or email.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It has a relatively high learning curve, but it is not insurmountable. Site customization might be challenging if you lack knowledge of HTML or CSS, a standard programming language. I could not even bear to look at one of my favorite themes on the site because of how much it cost.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Bigcommerce is the place to go if rapid expansion is a priority since it provides all the tools your business will need to succeed. They provide tremendous adaptability and versatility. If you're debating whether to use BigCommerce or not, my recommendation is to go in. But, ensure you can access all the information and photos you need for a product.

A leading software-as-a-service e-commerce platform that enables merchants of all sizes to build, innovate and grow their businesses online. Built for retail businesses of all sizes, it is a cloud-based tool that makes it easy for businesses to build e-commerce websites using customizable templates/themes and manage sales through centralized dashboards.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It has a good multitude of templates that you can feel out. Although it is meant for people less interested in web design, it also allows more tech-savvy users and developers to adjudicate some HTML and css styling. It is a very good platform for a wide range of company sizes. It's not just for the little guys, it's scalable and will grow with you.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Support sometimes doesn't know everything about ongoing issues with the platform, so it's sometimes frustrating to repeat an issue that the team jurors don't even know is happening. The options to add different clothing options were missing, making it difficult for our customers to choose their sizes in the drop down sections.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Bigcommerce recently offered the most creditable value in terms of access level features and marketplace functionality that were available to us as a growing small business. It offers a better foothold than lightspeed's own alternative, especially in terms of the freedom to manage our repertoire across many marketplace channels.

What differentiates BigCommerce from other similar products?

The support is second to none. Usability of the platform is much better than previous CMS platforms

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The platform is easy to navigate, you don’t have to be a developer to know your way around. Page Builder has also really helped our brand to create eye catching landing pages without having to band or over to a creative agency/developer

What do you dislike most about this product?

The new multi-store feature doesn’t currently support language locales so we use a PIM system to help enrich our French and German websites. Also the build in product merchandising needs some work, we currently use a 3rd party app to manage this.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The technical support department are always on hand if you have any questions which is unlike other CMS platforms I have used in the past. I find navigating the platform much more user friendly, you don’t have to be a developer to understand it. The new Page Builder feature is a great tool and works well.
