What differentiates Casino Management System (CMS) from other similar products?
Bally's is extremely easily to navigate for a front of house worker, and allows easy reporting of player history and player gaming information. I appreciated how quickly this information could be brought up, especially for skilled staff, the information could be used for immediate request.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's easy to read display and easy to access reports. It is very good at implementing incentives (at least at the front of house which was my experience) and is an easy program to learn, other than learning about the many reports there are, every day functions are easy to access and parse through.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Compared to Synkros (my only frame of reference) it didn't seem to have all of the myriad of functions that Synkros did, but I also don't think it necessarily needs them, especially in a front of house role. It's very robust and easy to use/read which in my opinion means it's simpler than other programs.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is a very good program for information collection, reporting, and ease of use (at least for front of house staff.) I didn't get to communicate with any representatives from Bally's, but any functions we needed from our Marketing or IT department were implemented quickly and we often didn't have any unworkable issues that CMP couldn't implement. It also is great for synchronizing player loyalty rewards with cashier and hosting programs
