A decent, but dated, file sharing service

What differentiates Dropbox Business from other similar products?
The biggest thing Dropbox Business used to offer as a unique product was a native app (widget of sorts) that would allow for real-time synchronization of files between the remote server and local devices (and this worked across devices). While it was an industry innovation before, other file sharing services now provide the same functionality. The biggest current differentiator is the ability to integrate with A LOT of other widely used tools. Google Cloud, Microsoft Office (as a destination to save files), etc, have all proved to be useful integrations.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect is the real-time sync across multiple devices.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The user interface leaves a lot to be desired. File indexing is also lacking, which results in it being somewhat difficult to find files using search functionality. The group and user policies are also a little confusing - it's nothing that speaking to customer support can't help clear up, though. Authorization and access restrictions are seldom easy to implement from the beginning, and the same can be said for Dropbox Business.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Be mindful that you have someone who will own and manage access control (ideally a centralized IT department) otherwise things can get messy. There are other options out there (such as Google Drive for Enterprise) which are better options, in my opinion.
Pros
- Trustworthy
- Fair
- Altruistic
- Enables Productivity
Cons
- Commodity Features
- Charges for Enhancements
- Leverages Incumbent Status

What differentiates Dropbox Business from other similar products?
It is well priced and very easy to use.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Dropbox Business is an evergreen utility since it doesn't try too hard. You can quickly identify which people of your team need access to the tool since you have access to files, folders, and groups. In addition, I liked how easy it was to get in touch with other businesses. When working on data management, this allowed us to collaborate on numerous data files without any hassles, and it also allowed us to ask other collaborators about specific data pockets and save time by not having to attend several meetings to settle a tiny problem or mistake.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The paid version is overkill for me; I'd rather have a basic, open-source file manager. Why a makeover of Dropbox is necessary if it wants to stay a success. Simplifying Dropbox's administrative interface and making it more appealing to small companies would be preferable than demanding a minimum of three users. A single user is sufficient for certain teams.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It's a good cloud storage choice for both business and personal use.
