What differentiates FLYR Hospitality from other similar products?
We reviewed Duetto, Ideas and Room Price Genie in comparison to FLYR and found FLYRs user interface more user-friendly, modern and sophisticated. The dashboards are also nice to look at, which helps if you're going to spend all day staring at numbers. The capabilities, specifically for a boutique hotel in a resort destination, were also more flexible than other systems we reviewed.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favourite aspect of this product is the reporting: how they are built, designed, and displayed. Conceptually, I like that the system (at least as it was originally designed and as we use it) does not take comp set pricing into account. Instead it 'learns' what the market will bear for our unique product, challenging owners/managers to shed assumptions they have about their value. ADR then steadily increases together with overall revenue and guest satisfaction as the hotel is in 'competition' with itself. One client in particular recognised their opportunity and reinvested, growing YOY revenue beyond any original expectations.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I dislike the stay control features or lack thereof. In this case, FLYR has not taken all use cases for stay controls into account. Managing restrictions is tedious and inefficient in its current version.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Don't try to figure out or control the algorithm. In the beginning, we were micromanaging pricing, freezing rates or manually overriding the system recommendations. We would question the point of a 1 dollar difference from day to day and worried that guests would balk at the rate spikes from one day to the next. But in 3 years, we've only had a few comments from repeaters, and in each case, we adjusted their rate offline, while continuing to win new clients at higher rates.

What differentiates FLYR Hospitality from other similar products?
The constant changes -willingness to want to keep improving the product and taking on feedback to make changes. The support from the team is the best I have received from any other software company. It makes a huge difference knowing you can get help when you need it
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Create your own reports is great. The visual components with the data and the ability to download.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Rate forecasts are based primarily on protecting ADR and look at booking window first. Need to consider where we have an occupancy first strategy, consider the lowest price first and grow to the top rate, like airlines, even if at 90 days plus we don't get too many bookings.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
