Inconsistent and Inflexible Claims Process
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Forma from other similar products?
Forma differentiates itself from other healthcare reimbursement products through several key features: User-Friendly Interface: Forma's platform is often praised for its simplicity and ease of navigation, which enables users to submit claims without unnecessary complexity. Comprehensive Coverage: Forma may cover a wide range of health and wellness expenses, allowing for a broad spectrum of claims that cater to diverse user needs.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
From my experience, the benefit of using Forma has been two-fold: Firstly, the platform initially provided a straightforward process for submitting gym membership claims, which was both user-friendly and efficient. Secondly, the reimbursement of these expenses, when processed correctly, has the potential to offer substantial savings on my health and wellness costs, aligning with my personal fitness goals and financial planning.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I have been a Forma customer for some time now, and I have encountered a significant inconsistency in the claims process. Initially, Forma had approved my gym membership claims based solely on the gym agreement provided. This established a precedent that I came to rely on for subsequent claims. However, my experience took a turn when a recent claim was denied despite following the same process that was previously successful. I was informed that my submission for the 2023 claim could not be adjusted or reevaluated, despite my assurance that it was submitted before the stated cutoff date.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Claim Process: Familiarize yourself with the claim submission process and the types of documentation required. Knowing this in advance can save time and reduce the likelihood of claim denials. Customer Support: Assess the responsiveness and helpfulness of Forma's customer service team. Reliable support is crucial for resolving any issues that may arise.
Cons
- Less Reliable
- Less Productive
- Less Efficient Service

Not too sure, as I have not used a similar Professional Stipend platform before Forma
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Big bold Numbers showing Remaining balance and linked company policy on benefits, all in one place
What do you dislike most about this product?
Lack of Prefill of data from receipts , when uploading multiple receipts I need to fill the form so man times
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If your company is going to rollout a benefits policy and want an SSO managed IT tool and offload the policy compliance checking of bills etc and go it for a geographically distributed team. Foram is a great pick. But I also use Navan would check with them if they offer this feature too. Or else it's like having too many SaaS tools for too niche of an use case
