Other BI tools offer a more new-school approach in their displays and dashboards. Drag-and-drop feature is a missing feature in designing dashboards. Their "click-and-drop" approach is weird.

What differentiates Looker from other similar products?
We are working on very big data analytics project and hence used and evaluate multiple data analytics and business intelligence solution that fits on our requirements. Looker by Google is a very good data analytics tool that you can rely on your daily data work. It has the capability to ingest data from various sources and provide you the real-time data analytics and visualizations of your data. From my perspective, Looker is suitable for your regular data works and reporting purposes, not optimized for big data analytics and visualizations. However, Looker has gained attention from many large companies and fit on their requirements.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Some of the best features are: 1) It is user friendly and any user with minimal training can start working on this from the day1. 2) It has the capability to integrate with almost all the available data sources. 3) It has nice user interface with all the required modules and features within the solution. 4) It is scalable and reliable data analytics solution.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Some of the suggested improvements are: 1) Looker needs more advanced visualizations such as charts, graphs, bar charts, etc. 2) Unlike the other available BI solutions, it has less community base to help on the issues. 3) The pricing may be a challenge for small and mid-sized companies. 4) The data refresh rate is not as expected and takes lots of time for refresh.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
You can go with it for your general data query and analytics purposes. We have faced no issues yet in deployment and using it.
