What differentiates IFS assyst from other similar products?
I enjoy how adaptable and broad Assyst is. It can meet a variety of requirements. I can meet all of my service desk, project management, knowledge base, incident management, and other needs. Fantastic product at an incredible price, with an extremely intriguing roadmap! I enjoy working with IFS since our Customer Success Manager, Customer Relationship Manager, and the Consultants we’ve worked with have all been wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable! They seek to understand our company’s difficulties and provide solutions that are tailored to our requirements. Anything we desire to develop comes with training on how to do so.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
What I enjoy best about this tool is the visibility into previously actioned tickets. If there are any doubts about how to proceed, I can go back and reference prior closed tickets to help me. Other features I enjoy are the ability to track the progress of a task, the status of a specific job, and the option to message users straight from the dashboard. This saves time and allows me to finish action items more quickly.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It still has some technical debt, but it appears to be on its way out. Workflow support is currently stagnant. It should be considerably more configurable.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Assyst is a reliable product that will meet everyone’s requirements. It has a solid foundation that has been built up over many years of delivering what is required from an ITSM product. After being purchased by IFS, the product appears to have maintained its quality in its primary areas. It also makes it simple to integrate with other products. Integration of established core functionality with new and innovative approaches to viewing and organizing data.
